Good sleep reduces the risk of diabetes in men , scientists have found that adequate sleep can reduce the risque of developing type 2 diabetes in men, according to a U.S. study . The results of the study conducted by the Biomedical Research Institute in Los Angeles (LA BioMed), were presented at the 95th Annual Meeting of the Endocrine Society in San Francisco on Tuesday.

The study by Peter Liu, LA BioMed principal investigator found that the sensitivity to insulin - the body's ability to remove glucose (sugar) in the blood - has improved a lot after sleeping three nights "catch up" the order week in men with sleep restriction week long term, according to Science Daily .
